Dr. Jamie K. Hicks was born in Southern Illinois and has resided in Arizona since 1998. Jamie has a Bachelor's degree in Education through Northern Arizona University, and has taught a large variety of students, ranging from kindergarten to adults. Since 2008, she has taught on campus and online at a local community college. In 2012 she obtained her Master's degree, graduating with honors in Christian Clinical Counseling through Cornerstone University. She went on to pursue her PHD through International Institute of Christian Counseling and graduated with honors in May of 2015. Jamie is licensed and certified as a temperament and christian counselor through the NCCA and has been counseling since 2010.  She was most recently presented with the Ruby award, Women Helping Women, from the Soroptimist Club in her community. Jamie has experience with speaking engagements and facilitating educational trainings on topic with mental health.Out of all these titles she prefers the title MOM the best! She has a supportive husband and together God has blessed them with four boys.

Jamie grew up in a Methodist church. She currently is a member of Hope City Church. It is her mission to serve and obey God faithfully. Her goal is to be a disciple for Jesus and a light wherever He may have her shine! She gives all her glory to our Creator! She is an obedient disciple living her life for God’s plan and purpose. All of her counseling is Bible based and includes coping skills and knowledge that is given at the level of the individual's needs. She will pray with and for you.
